Job Summary
A non-profit provider of support and funding to reproductive justice movements and organizations needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Communications Coordinator.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Strengthen and amplify company's brand identity and voice
- Support and contribute to the editorial direction, design, production, and distribution of electronic and print communications
- Copyedit key documents before external distribution
Qualifications for this position include:
- Demonstrated experience in strategic media relations
- Support on-site communications activities at majorl events
- Experience working in social justice movements
- Visionary and strategic approach to communications to shift dominant narratives
- Comfortable and experienced in working with people of color and LGBT people
- At least three to five years of experience in increasingly responsible, writing-intensive strategic marketing and communications roles
