Job Summary
A digital agency needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Consumer Associate in New York City.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Owning media pitches from start to finish, from media material creation to outreach, to secure meaningful coverage for clients
- Assist with creating media strategies and developing creative news angles
- Monitoring and tracking client, competitor, industry and cultural news and trends and sharing with the team
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to work from anywhere one day per week
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in PR or journalism, and at least 2+ year of agency experience
- Superior writing and editing skills that can communicate creatively and in an engaging manner
- Proven ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and client teams
- Experience working with media and influencers
- Love for news – you’re the person who always has their finger on the pulse
