Job Summary
A global insurance company has an open position for a Telecommuting Crop Claims Adjuster.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Accurately documenting, processing and transmitting loss information in order to determine potential damages
- Completing field inspections, reviews, and adjustments by reading maps and aerial photos
- Responding to crop claims by completing field inspections, communicating with involved parties, and performing investigations
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Frequent travel (approximately 10+ trips annually)
- Crop Adjuster Proficiency Program (CAPP) accreditation
- Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Applied knowledge of agriculture and crop farming
- Working knowledge of crop insurance regulations, policies, procedures and best practices
- Working knowledge of investigative techniques and legal research methodologies
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
