Job Summary
A cybersecurity company is in need of a Telecommuting Cybersecurity Channel Sales Engineer in Dallas.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Identifying and technically assessing new partners in tandem with Regional Partner Manager
- Providing technical guidance and influencing new and existing partners toward developing solutions
- Encouraging partners to utilize products and services internally
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5 to 7 years of experience in IT security market
- 2 years of field technical sales experience, working as a systems engineer or equivalent
- Basic understanding of the partner business model and common financial pain points
- General understanding of local partner community, technology trends, and competitive landscape
- Ability to position business benefits of products from a partner and customer perspective
- Strong communication and listening skills, including effective delivery of presentations
