An American technology company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Data Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Pragmatically solving problems dealing with complex systems
• Developing and maintaining the data analytics infrastructure
• Taking our series of shell scripts and cron jobs and turning it into a reproducible, reliable system

Required Skills:

• You're comfortable building and scaling the infrastructure needed to move massive quantities of data
• You're used to collaborating with analysts, data scientists, and developers
• Cloud-based engineering and DevOps are exciting topics for you
• Automating away tedium is a reasonable life goal, be it with python or other technologies
• You believe that a data pipeline should be subject to the same engineering rigor as any other application,
• You have an excellent command of written and spoken English
