Job Summary

A technology company has an open position for a Telecommuting Data Engineer in South Amboy.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and maintaining efficient data pipeline architecture
  • Assisting product-marketing, data science, and engineering teams with data-related technical issues
  • Exploring new and credible data sources that can be used to enhance our analytics efforts

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Work from Home on Fridays
  • 2 years experience in data engineering roles
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL & relational databases
  • Proficiency with object-oriented/scripting languages
  • Experience building and optimizing data pipelines and data models as part of a data warehouse solution
  • Familiarity with modern DWH tools (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift)
