Job Summary

An education company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Data Researcher Editor Consultant.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Assisting with assigned projects/tasks under the supervision of the Director
• Providing editorial support to the journalists participating in program activities
• Assisting in the training of journalists and coaches in the use of techniques learned in the workshops

Position Requirements Include:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution; or the equivalent of 3-5 years of work experience scraping data, visualizing data, and/or working in journalism
• Fluency in Spanish is required; applications without this requirement will not be considered
• Ability to identify data sets, mine data sets, and share sources of data
• Experience working with a diverse, multicultural staff
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially MS Word and MS Excel);
