Job Summary
A provider of software-as-a-service and solutions is filling a position for a Telecommuting Database Administrator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Researching and evaluating new technologies
- Communicating and coordinating database schedule backups and downtime to users
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures related to database acquisition, use, support, security and backup
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelors in Computer Science with background in computer database fundamentals or equivalent work experience
- Excellent communication skills, oral and written
- Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery
