Job Summary
A graphic design company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Database Developer.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating upgrade scripts to move changes from development to production
- Ensuring data integrity and system performance for all of our databases
- Writing efficient complex queries and assisting developers to do the same
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Ability to travel (estimate under 25%)
- Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
- 3-5 years in DB Development with MySQL and/or Oracle
- Strong knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
- Strong knowledge of MySQL and Oracle database systems
- Strong knowledge of database design, ERDs, schema creation
- Scripting or programming experience a plus (Python/PHP)
