An educational consulting company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Department Chairman.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Engaging in student advising, mentoring, and teaching as required
- Coordinating the programmatic accreditation process for the nursing program
- Maintaining the mission, quality and integrity of the program, reflecting company's standards
Qualifications for this position include:
- Some travel required (minimally once per semester)
- Two to five years teaching, advising, and mentoring in nursing program/s
- Active unencumbered RN license in California, Illinois, Texas, or Washington, DC
- Earned doctorate in nursing from a regionally accredited university
- Experience in nursing education, clinical practice, or administration
- Must meet all applicable requirements for Nursing Administration of a School of Nursing
