Job Summary

A computer software company is in need of a Telecommuting Dev Ops Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring and operations
  • Working collaboratively with software engineering to deploy and operate systems
  • Helping automate and streamline our operations and processes

Position Requirements Include:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Deep experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
  • Experience with various automation/configuration management using either Puppet, Chef or an equivalent
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly and independently
  • Strong coding and scripting skills
