Job Summary
A national network of groups and individuals organizing for racial equality needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Development Coordinator.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Develop overall internal and external fundraising strategies and plan in consultation with the leadership team and staff
- Manage and implement the group's individual donor program, including the management of volunteer-run phone banks and appeals
- Support chapters and leaders to fundraise for local partners and other local organizing efforts
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Develop a team of national fundraising volunteers offer fundraising training at the local level
- Experience with anti-racist education and/or organizing
- Appreciation for working with people and an ability to build/maintain relationships
- Skills, confidence, and experience making asks of major donors, whether as an organizer or as a fundraiser
- Excitement and energy to learn and grow as a fundraiser
- Ability to thrive in a virtual work environment
