Job Summary
A nonprofit organization is seeking a Telecommuting Development Manager.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating a pipeline of prospects for future large gifts
- Expanding and diversifying the donor base
- Identifying, cultivating, soliciting and managing annual giving, mail appeals, and special events
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Approximately 10% percent travel. Must have a valid driver's license.
- Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and develop proactive prospecting mail appeals to support organizational goals
- Seasoned non-profit development professional with a minimum of 5-7 years of fundraising experience
- A bachelor's degree is required for this position
- Ability to proactively implement a strategy of shared philanthropy building, working in close cooperation with leaders and development professionals
- Demonstrated analytical skills
