Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Telecommuting DevOps Engineer.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Designing and documenting a performance/scalability plan
• Planning microservice deployments and scalability testing on Kubernetes clusters
• Working with performance/scalability test cases into release processes

Qualifications Include:

• Broad experience in development and operations
• Performance and scalability experience
• Experience designing and writing performance test plans
• Experience with open source performance testing tools, and ability to simulate dynamic user traffic
• Experience with performance profiling tools and techniques for services deployed on Unix-like operating systems
• Experience with writing documentation, runbooks, etc., for operations and infrastructure engineers
