A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting DevOps Engineer.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Contribute to the open source community
- Utilize a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
- Utilize experience with technology operations
Position Requirements Include:
- Strong background in Linux/Unix administration
- Managing environments deployed at Amazon Web Services
- Using automation/configuration management tools such as Puppet and Chef
- Administering Postgres, Redis, Nginx, and Rails
- Writing your own code/scripts
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
