Job Summary

An IT and service provider has a current position open for a Telecommuting DevOps Engineer in Austin.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Utilizing automation tool such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Jenkins, Git, CloudFormation
  • Assisting Cloud Architects to provide operations and migration services
  • Designing and developing automation to support continuous delivery

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Travel 10% of the time
  • 10 years of additional relevant experience
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant DevOps experience in AWS and/or Azure
  • Extensive experience with implementing, migrating, managing, and operating systems/applications in an enterprise cloud computing environment
  • Subject matter expertise with ALL VAEC Cloud Service Providers which currently includes Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services
