Job Summary
An online social networking service has an open position for a Telecommuting DevOps Technical Project Manager in San Francisco.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Triaging the adhoc queue of requests from various teams
- Working towards automating smaller adhoc requests
- Helping coordinate iteration planning
Qualifications for this position include:
- Work from home Wednesdays
- 2+ years of solid Linux/UNIX systems engineer/administrator experience
- Automation experience with configuration management tools such as Chef, Ansible, or Puppet
- Proficient in bash shell scripting (sed + awk) and one of Ruby or Python
- Experience automating application deployments with Capistrano or Jenkins
- Experience managing projects for a team of engineers and coordinating with other teams and product managers
