Position Specifics

Title: eCommerce Operations Specialist

Reports To: eCommerce Director of Sales

Geography: Work from home position

Location: Must reside in the continental US

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Evaluate and proof product descriptions and branding
Reply to daily trouble tickets from distributors in a timely manner
Proactively manage and review manufacturers dashboards for optimal improvement
Understand and create workflows
Audit, edit and maintain product content
Oversee and manage marketing content
Identify new marketing opportunities
Create unique product copy and digital assets
Manage the day-to-day operations with Amazon and our manufacturers
Continually monitor competitor and industry developments
Conduct pricing and content analysis
Facilitate the onboarding of new manufacturers
Execute self-service marketing services; i.e. VPC's, key word, target audience, ASIN specific
Increase the value of the product perceived by the end user
Conduct data content scrubs and recommend best practices
Position Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree; preferred degrees in e-commerce, e-business, marketing or communications
Skills & Competencies:

3-5 years of e-commerce branding and marketing; preferably in retail or industrial distribution
Experience in data analysis and pivot tables a plus
Experience in Amazon Vendor Central required
Working knowledge and experience with eCommerce distributors' portals and best practices a plus
Intermediate experience using Microsoft Office tools; i.e. Excel, Word and Outlook
Strong computer knowledge and skills
Experience using CRM software; Salesforce preferred but not required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Must have a keen attention to detail
Experience with e-commerce marketing campaigns
Must be organized and self-driven to maintain high productivity
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills, time management and project management skills
Flexible when priorities shift
Sales experience is a plus
Ability to work in a fast paced environment and multitask
Must be a team player and take initiative
Travel Requirements:

1 to 3 times per year
Technical Requirements:

Minimum home internet speed of 10Mpbs
Must have dedicated home office
Physical Demands:

Sitting, particularly for sustained periods of time
Ability to walk through end user facilities for extended periods of time
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
Work Environment:

Generally, works in an office setting but may seldom be required to travel for work
