Job Summary
A nonprofit organization needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Education Communications and Publications Vice President.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Creating and overseeing implementation of marketing and communications strategy
- Overseeing, and supporting staff in developing and writing all online and print publications
- Mentoring, coaching, and developing staff using a supportive and collaborative approach on a consistent basis
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Occasional travel
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, or related field is required
- Senior leadership experience and expertise in communications strategy
- Proven experience shaping long-term vision and driving strategies to achieve objectives in marketing, public relations, internal communications and policy communications
- Extensive successful writing and editing experience with a variety of print and online communications media
