Job Summary

An education service is in need of a Telecommuting Education Development Operations Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Manage the establishment and configuration of SaaS infrastructure in an agile way
  • Build solutions to problems that interrupt availability, performance, and stability
  • Be accountable for proper backup and disaster recovery procedures

Position Requirements Include:

  • Minimum experience 2-3 years
  • Strong experience building and maintaining production systems on AWS
  • Familiarity interacting with the AWS APIs
  • Experience with monitoring, metrics, and visualization tools for network, server, and application status
  • Experience with hardware and software firewalls, IPS, WAF, and additional security layers
  • Experience with RDBMS (PostgreSQL/MySQL/SQL Server)
