Job Summary

A skill development company has an open position for a Telecommuting Educational Enrollment Coordinator.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Receiving inbound phone inquiries from parents who are interested in a reading skills program for their children
  • Talking to between 25 to 30 parents each day, discussing their children's reading skills
  • Explaining how the programs will help, and help overcome obstacles to enrollment

Qualifications Include:

  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills
  • A Windows PC, or Apple computer connected directly to a modem by Ethernet cable and a USB headset with microphone
  • Must have exceptional verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to engage parents in thoughtful conversation about their children's needs
  • A quiet, designated work area that is free from distractions
  • Must be persistent and determined to help every parent they speak with
