Job Summary
A strategy and policy organization is in need of a Telecommuting Effective Organizations and Investments Principal.
Must be able to:
- Broaden company's networks and contacts in philanthropy, identifying new clients with whom we should partner
- Manage business development planning and execution to meet our growth goals
- Build long-term relationships with clients around the nation
Position Requirements Include:
- This position requires travel related to client engagements and business development
- 10+ years’ experience working in education on school change, systems change and/or education policy change
- Cultivated experience and insight in how foundations and philanthropists set strategy, make decisions, monitor progress and work with grantees and other funders
- Strong, existing network within the philanthropic space to cultivate for sales, experience fundraising and/or selling, and ability to develop and manage budgets
- Experience building strong relationships with and among partners, especially in philanthropy and among thought leaders and experts
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in public policy, public administration, business, education, Juris Doctor or related fields preferred
