Job Summary

A nonprofit relief organization has an open position for a Telecommuting Emergency Partner Capacity Strengthening Technical Advisor.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Organizing the project team and staff to ensure quality planning, implementation, monitoring, reporting and evaluation
• Organizing the capacity building and accompaniment of partners
• Ensuring emergency relief and recovery activities undertaken by partners are compliant with Sphere and other international standards

Required Skills:

• Willingness and ability to travel internationally 50% of time
• Graduate degree in an international development related field
• Sound project and budget management skills
• 5+ years of field management experience with an international relief/development agency
• Proven track record of developing winning proposals for the US government, EU, UN, and/or other funding opportunities
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to navigate the humanitarian coordination system
