Job Summary
A company in the aerospace and defense market is filling a position for a Telecommuting Engineering and Software Services Account Manager.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Meeting sales goals by closing business persistently
- Consulting with customers onsite to understand their technical problems and challenges
- Presenting and selling software and engineering services to current and potential customers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel about 30% of the time within the territory
- BS or higher in engineering or computer science or equivalent experience
- 10+ years of professional experience with at least 5 years selling high-end software solutions to engineers
- Track record of meeting sales quota consistently
- Experience developing new leads, lead follow-up, qualification and targeted account selling in person and by phone
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts
