Job Summary
An educational company has an open position for a Telecommuting Engineering Immersion Course Mentor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with Program Managers and Engineering Immersion staff to provide detailed feedback on student success
- Motivating and fostering best practices with your student(s) as they work to build project management skills
- Meeting one-on-one with your student(s) in half-hour sessions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must have a reliable, high-speed Internet connection
- Minimum of 2 years professional experience as a Software Engineer or Developer using Node.JS and React.JS at an industry level
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- High level of empathy and people management skills
- Competency with Data Structures and Algorithms
