Job Summary

A nonprofit organization has a current position open for a Telecommuting English Language Arts Item Writer.

Must be able to:

• Write multiple-choice, open response, short answer, performance tasks, and technology-enhanced educational assessment items
• Develop test items for large-scale, customized assessment programs for K - 12

Position Requirements Include:

• Two or more years of teaching experience earned at the elementary, middle or secondary level
• Bachelor's degree, Master's degree, or Doctorate in discipline
• Prior item writing experience preferred but will provide instructional materials and feedback
• Familiarity with national and/or state curriculum standards
