Job Summary
A company that offers educational services needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting English Second Language Tutor.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing constructive feedback to students to help them improve their speaking skills
- Conducting Internet video interaction with students from grades 1 to grade 9 using ZOOM
- Creating a safe, positive, respectful and supportive online environment
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must be proficient in English
- Committed availability, from 6am to 10am Eastern Daylight Time Zone
- Legally entitled to work in the U.S. or Canada
- Qualified home office/location with an internet-connected computer with webcam capability (please see technical requirements on job lead)
- Minimum three-month or equivalent combination of ESL/EFL teaching experience, including part-time, volunteer, community and coaching activities
- Strong communication skills interacting with ESL/EFL students
