Job Summary
A media company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Entertainment Writer.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Taking on topic assignments from the team
- Coming up with your own article pitches
- Writing anywhere from one to five articles per week
Qualifications for this position include:
- must be comfortable working in a deadline-oriented environment
- must be comfortable delivering time-sensitive pitches
- At least one year of hands-on, deadline-driven online editorial experience, preferably for an entertainment publication or online
- A strong knowledge of TV & film
- Ability to keep up-to-date with what’s trending in the entertainment industry
- Excellent knowledge of pop culture landscape, both past and present
