Job Summary
A homeschool program is seeking a Telecommuting Finance Specialist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Monitor Finances on a Monthly and Quarterly basis using Financial Reports
- Manage all bookkeeping including Quickbooks Online Database, Accounts Receivable, and Accounts Payable
- Create Program Level Budgets
Position Requirements Include:
- This contract position is mostly remote, with 1-2 in person meetings a month in the Santa Cruz, Silicon Valley, and/or East Bay areas
- Minimum of 2 consecutive years writing, monitoring, and managing an annual budget of $100,000 - $300,000
- Experienced in creating, interpreting, and explaining Financial Reports
- Minimum 2 Years in Full Charge Bookkeeping role: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and managing Cash Flow.
- Minimum 2 years experience in Quickbooks Online managing database
- Experienced working collaboratively in a team management role in the non-profit sector and/or consensus based organizations
