Job Summary

A lifestyle digital publication needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Financial Controller.

Must be able to:

• Oversee the operations of the finance department
• Ensure complete system of controls over accounting transactions
• Ensure timely reconciliation between the financial records and internal financial models are performed monthly

Required Skills:

• Associates Degree in Accounting or Business Administration, or a minimum of 5 years of business experience of progressive responsibility in a finance department
• Previous management experience in a finance department
• Full understanding of accrual and cash basis financials
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Working knowledge of Quickbooks
• Strong organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills
