Job Summary
A testing laboratories company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Food and Agricultural Inspector in Philadelphia.
Must be able to:
- Prepare and submit complete and accurate inspection reports including properly labeled samples
- Report results according to standard company Inspection or Sampling Report
- Be responsible for inspection and sampling of shipments of food, agricultural and food ingredients
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Travel up to 25% of the time
- Some industry experience on field inspections
- Requires some knowledge of food, agricultural and FDA/ USDA grades, standards and systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to communicate orally with customers, vendors, managements and colleagues are crucial
- Proven success multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
