A cloud provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Front End Engineering Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Recruiting and hiring world-class engineers
- Providing technical leadership
- Working across teams and functions to deliver amazing user experience features to our customers
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ability to travel to our office to get quality in-person time with the team at least once a year; attend conferences
- Expertise with modern JavaScript development
- Sound business judgment, with a proven ability to influence others and make excellent decisions
- Demonstrated ability to lead positive change
- Experience running a technology selection process and leading a major code refactoring
- A customer focused understanding of the challenges that face developers when selecting an infrastructure platform
