Job Summary

A company in the education industry has a current position open for a Telecommuting Front End Web Developer.

Must be able to:

  • Install, design, and configure Wordpress microsites
  • Analyze use and needs, determine data structure and user experience flow
  • Create customized apps/scripts for Marketing needs

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • 1 year minimum experience and a portfolio demonstrating technical ability and design sense
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Design/Development or related field
  • Strong working knowledge of HTML5, CSS, Javascript/jQuery, and PHP
  • Working knowledge of Linux web server platforms, including WHM/cPanel, Apache, and shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Wordpress/CMS platforms and ability to create/modify themes and plug-ins
  • Ability to work in API platforms and related technologies
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and how they apply to design and development
