Job Summary

A clinical research organization is seeking a Telecommuting Gastroenterology Executive Medical Director.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Providing medical and scientific oversight of clinical trials to ensure company SOPs, sponsor directives and international guidelines are followed
• Providing and overseeing medical advisory services
• Working closely with Project Management to ensure that the project teams are adequately trained in required therapeutic area

Required Skills:

• Up to 20% travel
• MD required with post-graduate training in Gastroenterology required
• Must be US board certified in Gastroenterology
• At least 10-15 years of clinical and/or clinical development experience within pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device and/or CROs
• Demonstrable experience in writing or editing protocols, study reports and/or abstracts
• Excellent knowledge of ICH/GCP/FDA/MHRA and other region and/or country specific regulations and guidelines
