A higher education system needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting General Education Curriculum and Instruction Developer.
Must be able to:
- Identify and engage appropriate faculty SMEs in the development of courses
- Identify and resolve potential barriers to project timeline
- Create comprehensive goals and project plan for each course being developed
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 5 + years of experience in curricula and course development in higher education
- Master's degree in one of the general education disciplines
- Evidence of application of active learning strategies
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects to achieve desired outcomes
- Experience in faculty development and training
- Knowledge of educational and instructional theories and principles applicable
