Job Summary

A civil engineering company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Geochemist.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Developing geochemical evaluation work plans and interpret data for mine development and closure projects
  • Performing geochemical modeling to predict chemical speciation in soil and groundwater
  • Performing technical evaluations of environmental contaminants in waste, tailings, soil, sediment, and groundwater

Qualifications Include:

  • Requires a current valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Bachelor and Master of Science degree in engineering, geology, environmental science or related field
  • OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER Experience
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in consulting and /or mining industry
  • MSHA Experience
  • Previous task management experience
