Job Summary
A translation company has an open position for a Telecommuting Government Interpreter and Translator.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Providing translation services over the phone, video remote, in-person, written and website localization
- Communicating flexibly through project-to-project basis as well as on-demand, or scheduled sessions
Qualifications for this position include:
- Minimum 40 hours of community interpreter skills training
- Minimum 100 hours of practical experience interpreting within the medical or legal fields
- Excellent command of the languages and cultural context
- Able to read and write in both native and acquired languages
- Eligible to work in the United States and older than 21+ years
