Job Summary

A recruiting company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Hadoop Lead Engineer Architect.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Understanding how the whole system works and interacts with teams across a large complex environment
  • Working on Architecture, Administration, Development and Security of their Hadoop Ecosystem

Required Skills:

  • Additional experience with Yarn, Flume, Storm, Kafka, Spark, Sqoop etc
  • Must have 10 years overall experience with at least the last 5 years focused on Hadoop
  • Previous experience working cross functionally with teams including Engineering, Operations, Data Science and Business
  • MapReduce and Java development experience
  • Experience working with Hadoop testing tool, Hive, Pig, HBase, testingwhiz, Valuecoder etc
  • Must have experience working across the complete Hadoop Framework
