Job Summary
A cloud computing company has an open position for a Telecommuting Hardware Supply Chain Planner.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Working with Infrastructure Buyer to negotiate volume and pricing
- Managing relationships with key suppliers
- Developing and executing raw materials and components supply chain strategy
Position Requirements Include:
- Attend industry events/conferences to ensure company maintains excellent visibility to vendors
- Attend an all-expense-paid trip to our office to get quality in-person time with the team at least once a year
- Well versed in server technology and various server hardware components
- Demonstrated success in managing vendor relationships on behalf of a large enterprise
- Superb negotiation skills balancing cost reduction and relationship management
- Understand how to maneuver the supply chain landscape
