Job Summary
A health insurance company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommuting Health and Safety Director.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Overseeing and implementing safety protocols, develop standards, and establish consistency
- Providing regional strategy, leadership and support to onsite operations
- Enforcing a culture of safety and related quality inspections, audits, meetings, and data
Qualifications Include:
- Travel 50 % of the time
- Expert on OSHA regulations, Hazmat/Hazwaste
- Master's degree in Science
- 10 years' related experience and in-depth knowledge of environment, health and safety regulations
- 10 years regional management experience
- 10 years' progressive EHS experience within a high-risk manufacturing environment
