Job Summary

An insurance company is filling a position for a Telecommuting Health Claims Medical Director.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Providing medical interpretation about services provided by other healthcare professionals
• Influencing department's strategy
• Conducting clinical reviews of the care received by members

Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of clinical experience
• Current, unrestricted license in at least 1 jurisdiction and willing to obtain for other states
• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified in an approved ABMS Medical Specialty
• Excellent communication skills with 5 years of established clinical experience
• Experience leading teams in quality/utilization management, discharge, and/or home health/rehab
