Job Summary
A nonprofit organization has an open position for a Telecommuting Higher Education Network Director.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Recruiting, training, supporting and developing administrative coaches
- Meeting strategic goals for institution recruitment
- Directly engaging new institutions, particularly leadership, assessing opportunity, and ensuring appropriate follow up
Qualifications for this position include:
- Ability to travel up to 35% of the time to local, statewide, and national community colleges, partners, and events
- Masters degree
- At least 5 years experience as a senior community college or higher education administrator
- Previous experience with strategic planning and partnership or client management
- In-depth understanding of the culture and decision-making process at community colleges and higher education institutions
- Experience in designing and maintaining professional learning communities, networks or similar education programs
