An on-demand medical coding services company has an open position for a Telecommuting HIM ED Coder in Pasadena.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Coding using CPT codes, procedure and charge entry
• Coding emergency department and out patient services

Qualifications Include:

• Experience in coding ED and OP
• AHIMA certified. CCS, RHIT, or RHIA
• Skilled in E&M, infusion and injection CPT codes, procedure and charge entry
• Minimum 2-3 years of ED/OP coding experience within the last 5 years
