Job Summary
A school is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting History Teacher.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Providing a high quality education in a technology-based education system
- Ensuring that each student has the knowledge and skills to complete college
- Applying best practices and strategies in online teaching to support student success
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Education or Post Bachelors in Education from an accredited college or university
- Meets at least one of the Highly Qualified requirements determined by the Arizona Department of EducationHQ Teacher Reciprocity (out-of-state reciprocal exam), ORPassing score of appropriate AEPA /NES Subject Knowledge Test, ORMajor/24 Credit hours in core academic subject area, ORHolds advanced degree in core academic subject area, ORHolds National Board Certification in core academic subject area, OR
- Earned minimum 100 points on AZ HOUSSE, completed no later than June 30, 2007
- Active AZ Department of Public Safety (DPS) IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
- Professional verification of successful classroom teacher performance and/or student teaching experience
