Job Summary

A consulting services provider is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Home Health Validator in Miami.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Reviewing documentation and providing ICD-10 coding recommendations
  • Thoroughly reviewing medical records to determine correct usage of ICD-10 CM codes
  • Observing and reporting unusual patterns in data collection

Applicants must meet the following qualifications:

  • Requires at least one coding credential
  • Working knowledge of federal and state home health licensure regulations are required
  • Requires at least two years coding Home Health records
  • Working knowledge of CMS Condition of Participation in Home Health Services is required
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, compliance and reimbursement guidelines are required
