Job Summary
A professional services company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Telecommuting Human Resources Suitability Specialist.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing suitability screening, including identifying applicants/appointees and validating the need for investigation
- Initiating appropriate level personnel security investigations or accepting reciprocity as appropriate
- Identifying appointees/employees and validating the need for a reinvestigation or an investigation upgrade due to a change in position risk level
Skills and Requirements Include:
- 8 years of Human Resources experience required
- Successful completion of the National Background Investigations Bureau (NBIB) Essentials of Suitability Adjudication Program (ESAP)
- Knowledge of functions, operations, policies and procedures in order to make informed judgments in planning, executing, and evaluating suitability
- Strong written and oral communication skills in order to effectively explain policies and procedures related to suitability
- Candidate must be able to clear a High Risk Public Trust – Background Investigation (BI) – (Tier 4)
