A healthcare and health insurance company has an open position for a Telecommuting Informatics Consultant.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Presenting analytic reports to clients and stakeholders
- Performing applied statistical research and custom analysis
- Mentoring other analysts
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Travel Required 0 - 10%
- Demonstrated extensive and diverse knowledge of health care data, metrics, systems and standards
- Five or more years of health research, provider reporting, epidemiology or pharmaceutical industry analytic experience
- Advanced SQL programming abilities in data warehouse or big data analytics environment
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Well-versed in statistical model building and concepts, decision trees and classification rules
