Job Summary

A chemical company has an open position for a Telecommuting Key Automotive Account Manager in the Detroit Area.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Maintaining a pool of potential opportunities and prioritizing for periodic review
  • Being primarily responsible for selling fluoropolymer products to new accounts
  • Promoting and selling product offerings through a deep knowledge of the product portfolio

Skills and Requirements Include:

  • 5 years (minimum) B2B Sales Experience in the chemicals or polymers industry, having served OEM, Tier 1, and or Tier 2 automotive market segment, customers
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science or Business
  • Ability to quickly understand and assimilate new technologies, products and processes
  • Strong Business acumen
  • Experience with Microsoft OfficeTM tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook ) and CRM tools (SFDC)
  • Highly effective selling and negotiation skills
