Job Summary
A software development company is in need of a Telecommuting Kubernetes DevOps Software Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Lead the test lab for large-scale networking and distributed systems protocols in simulated and real world settings
- Take control of company's kubernetes cluster and run test suites for various components of the IPFS ecosystem
- Design clean and re-usable interfaces to deploy and run tests on a cluster, gather metrics and interpret results
Qualifications for this position include:
- Experience with cloud deployments and cloud providers (i.e. aws, digital ocean)
- Experience with VM/container and cluster management tools (i.e. kubernetes, docker, mesos...)
- Experience with testing pipelines (Jenkins, Github hooks etc.)
- Experience programming in Go (or strong motivation to learn)
- Solid knowledge of systems networking
- Knowledge of automation of infrastructure and related technologies (i.e. terraform, packer, ansible...)
