Job Summary
A laboratory automation company has a current position open for a Telecommuting Laboratory Equipment and Systems Midwest Sales Representative.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Specify targeted accounts, identify business opportunities, close new business deals while coordinating requirements
- Work with marketing to drive initiatives, enhance campaigns and build material for the US market
- Arrange client meetings, identify opportunities, and generate leads with accounts in your territory
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Travel requirements 50% Expectation is that you will have a minimum of 6 face-to-face meetings each week
- Can be located anywhere in the Mid-West region or in a location with easy access to an airport for travel to Mid-West pharmaceutical hubs
- Must be able to develop a focused territory development plan each fiscal year
- Proven record in an applications role that is highly interested in transitioning to a sales role
- Demonstrable knowledge of the sales process for capital equipment in the life sciences market
- Strong communication skills (written, oral, email, telephone, and presentation)
